Payment information refers to credit card numbers and billing information,
which we collect with the help of third-party PCI-compatible service providers. These service providers are not allowed to store, retain or use information that you provide except for the sole purpose of handling credit card purchases on our behalf.
Examples of navigation information are your IP address, browser type, reference source, visit time, geographic location, or the pages you visit. Much of the information that we record is collected via cookies, and this particular type of information is important to us in the development and improvement of our website.
You can choose to accept or reject cookies. If you reject them, you won’t be able to experience the interactive features that Jetshop makes available, among other things.
We use software called Hubspot to helps us better manage our website. It informs us about which content is effective. We use Hubspot in our HTML based emails to know which emails have been opened by recipients. This allows us to measure the effectiveness of certain communication and our marketing campaigns. Personal information includes the personal information you voluntarily let us collect, such as your name, email address, phone number and company name. It’s also possible that, in order to improve your experience of our website, we download information about you available on the Internet (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google). Your personal information will be used in order to inform you of things that may be of interest to you, or provide other companies with statistical information. Note, however, that this information cannot be used to identify an individual user.
In the event that you use social media features or Widgets (such as Facebook’s Like button or “Share the Article”), we at Jetshop are not responsible for the handling of your personal data. That responsibility is instead borne by the hosts of the said features (such as Facebook).
We often link to other websites, for example in our customer case studies. We are not responsible for the handling of personal data on these websites.
We retain the personal data that you give us as long as we feel it is necessary.
At Jetshop we care about your data and security, which is why we use different types of security procedures and ways of working to protect your data from unauthorised access or use. Your data is always protected in a controlled and secure environment and your personal information will never be resold by us at Jetshop to a third party.
By law, it is prohibited to design websites that target or collect information about children up to 12 years of age. If you suspect that we have inadvertently collected information about a child under the age of 12, please contact us at: firstname.lastname@example.org. If your suspicions are correct, we guarantee that any information will be immediately deleted.
In the event that we believe that your personal information could have a negative impact on our rights, your personal safety or the personal safety of others, or if we suspect fraud, we reserve the right to use or disclose your personal information.
If we (or our assets) were to be acquired by another company – through merger, bankruptcy or otherwise – the company would have access to all the personal data that Jetshop has collected. If that were to happen, we would of course inform you of the matter.
To manage our advertising on other websites, we partner with a third-party ad network, which may collect non-personal information about you with the intention of targeting ads based on your interests.
